Hurry still a few tickets left!
Award winning welsh comic Rhod Gilbert will be playing a handful of small intimate warm up gigs across the country, and thanks to the Stroke Comedy Club's outstanding reputation as one of the best independent clubs on the UK comedy circuit, he has chosen to appear at the club's home, the George Hotel, next month. Gilbert has previously sold out the O2, playing to an audience of 20,000 people, and is a regular on television programmes such as Have I Got News For You, 8 out of 10 Cats, Never Mind the Buzzcocks as well as his own series Ask Rhod Gilbert, so this is a unique opportunity to see the star up close and personal.
The date sold out in just 3 minutes, however, regulars at the Stroke Comedy Club will be pleased to learn that a small number of tickets, which cost £14, have been held back for a lottery which will be held at the next regular show on 3rd November - also a sell out. Ticket holders for the 1st December and special Christmas show on 22nd December will also be included in the draw.
For details of the Stroke Comedy Club's future line up see the club's website - www.strokecomedy.com.
Tickets for regular shows are £12 and usually sell out a month ahead so people are advised to book well in advance.
