Every year, Lichfield Round Table leave the comfort of their arm chairs and venture out into the cold winter air to escort Santa around the streets of the Lichfield district, bringing Christmas cheer and magic to the people of the Lichfield District.
Santa and his helpers will be out from 1st December to the 23rd December collecting for the benefit of local good causes.
Each night Lichfield Round Table are joined by a local good cause to help escort Santa and knock on a few doors. The local good causes collecting with us every night comprise of many different local charities, schools and community organisations.
Santa, his Sleigh and a few of his helpers will be at the Lichfield Christmas Lights Switch On, on 27th November, located outside the George IV pub from 3pm to 5pm, then on stage just before the lights are switched on at 5pm.
On Thursday 24th November the website (http://lichfieldsanta.co.uk) will be launched with details of every route and a live 'santa tracker' that will show santa's exact location as he tours the streets every evening in December.
