Santa is seeking applications from any local good causes to collect with him this christmas.
In a change to previous years, a new application procedure is being run by Lichfield Round Table to encourage more local non-profit making good causes to apply to join Santa on his rounds on the streets of Lichfield in December.
Successful applicants are asked to provide 15 adult collectors for 1 night in December in return for a sizable donation to their organisation resulting from the collections across the month.
Good causes that joined Santa last year will be emailed an application form shortly, but other organisations are encouraged to apply.
A simple application form can be obtained by emailing tableau250@hotmail.co.uk , which must be returned by Friday 12 October to be eligible for consideration.
Previous organisations supporting Santa's collections include Lichfield Swimming Club, G-Force trampolining club, Friary School PTA, Shenstone Playing Fields, Alrewas Youth Club and Whittington First Responders . Successful good causes will be notified in early November.
