On Sunday December 16th at 3pm families including children and grandchildren are being invited to bring toys and gifts suitable for distribution to children and/or 'store cupboard' items to support the work of the Lichfield Foodbank.
There will also be an opportunity to support the work of the Lichfield Pathway Project which work with victims of domestic abuse.
As well as singing and storytelling there will be the opportunity during the service to present your gifts
The main idea of the service is to spread the Christian mission and spread light and happiness to those who are most in need.
The service will be led by the Dean of Lichfield Cathedral the Very Rev. Adrian Dorber.
Commenting on the service he said: It will be a really enjoyable service and will “raise the curtain” on the Christmas season and festivities.
