Treat in store for music lovers this Spring at the Lichfield Garrick
Eric Clapton fans will be in for a treat when tribute act Cream of Clapton rocks into town on Thursday 1 March. Cream of Clapton is a remarkable and utterly authentic tribute to English guitarist and singer-songwriter, Eric Clapton. The two-hour show will cover the songs from Eric’s days in Cream and Derek and the Dominoes, as well as his spectacular solo career.
Music of ABBA and the Bee Gees will be performed in The Winner Takes It All at the theatre on Friday 2 March. This show is a non-stop barrage of hits from ABBA and the Bee Gees including Stayin’ Alive, Night Fever, More Than a Woman, Dancing Queen, Waterloo, Take a Chance, and Fernando.
On Saturday 3 March, UK Pink Floyd Experience will replicate the line up of the full live Pink Floyd touring band of the late 80s and 90s. With state-of-the-art sound and a spectacular light show, the band will perform hits from Dark Side of the Moon through to Division Bell.
Jazz quartet, Gypsy Fire is set to perform at the Lichfield Garrick on Friday 9 March. Gypsy Fire create stunning acoustic instrumental performances, combining breathtaking musical virtuosity and exhilarating dynamics, breathing new life into music from the worlds of classical, jazz, Latin, rock, blues and beyond.
And finally, one of the most outstanding guitar duos in the UK, Ezio will return to the theatre on Saturday 10 March. From Black Boots On Latin Feet to This Is The Day, Ezio’s music has been described as Latin, alternative country.
