Emporium in association with Lichfield Festival is delighted to announce the winner of The Lichfield Prize 2017:
Prize Winner: John Thomson with ‘Once upon a time in the West’ drawing and sculpture
Highly Commended: Chris Welsh with ‘Baseball Cap’ tempera painting
Rosalind White with ‘Liberty’ painting
Alison Griffin with ’Land of No Shadows?’ drawing
The prize of £500 sponsored by Lichfield BID plus a gallery exhibition at Emporium was awarded to the winner at Lichfield Cathedral.
The Peoples Prize of £200 sponsored by Keely LLP will be awarded to the most voted for artwork. Voting slips and ballot boxes can be found at the two venues.
The Finalists headline the Dreams & Extremes exhibition in the Cathedral which continues with the Selected entries at the gallery in Bird Street.
