Remembrance Day falls on Monday November 11th this year but at The National Arboretum in Lichfield, every day is Remembrance Day.
A National Memorial to those who have lost their lives serving our country, The National Arboretum is the place where the nation remembers.
On Sunday 10th November, an annual outdoor Remembrance Sunday service will be held and everyone is welcome. Commencing at 10:30am, the service will follow with a parade at 12 noon and a salute taken by Colonel Michael Beatty CBE, TD, DL.
On Monday 11 November, an outdoor service will be held and again, everyone is welcome. The service will be held on the Armed Forces Memorial and will begin at 10.40am (approx). A parade, with a salute taken by Mr Ian Dudson CBE, Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire, will begin on Millennium Avenue at 12 noon.
Join together to remember the fallen soldiers at The National Arboretum in Lichfield - we will remember them.
