Lichfield District Council is keen to welcome shoppers and visitors who come for the many great places the city has to offer for socialising and is providing free parking to encourage them.
This will be at The Friary multi storey on Saturday 9 December and Sunday 10 December, Saturday 16 December and Sunday 17 December and Saturday 23 December and Sunday 24 December.
Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet Member for High Streets and Visitor Economy, Councillor Janice Silvester-Hall, said: “With Christmastime fast approaching, and so much to attract visitors to the city; the pubs, restaurants, heritage buildings and shops, we want to make parking as easy and convenient for people as possible.
“The Friary multi storey car park is free for use over the next three weekends which we hope will help visitors enjoy the city centre.”
