National Stationery Day began in 2012 and is part of a campaign to promote all things stationery to consumers and the press.
In 2013, the event got bigger and better and it soon became National Stationery Week.
Now in 2015, it’s going Global and 29th April is designated World Stationery Day.
So what stationery item do you find special? A pencil, pen, ruler, pencil case, writing paper, envelopes, cards etc.? Pens can make beautiful gifts especially if you love writing and being creative.
Lichfield Cathedral are embracing National Stationery Week and state the importance of being able to write by hand and how it is one of the cornerstones of how we communicate with each other.
The Cathedral Shop at Number 9 sell beautiful stationery including cards for every occasion from local artists as well as cards featuring old railway posters from the golden age of travel.
The shop also stocks Paperblank journals with a variety of cover designs to suit all tastes. To write with, the Cathedral pens come complete with a suede pen wallet – a lovely gift for every occasion.
