The Lichfield Festival of Folk is back for it’s fourth year. Brought to you by Lichfield Arts, there will be a programme of the very best in Folk Music from across the nation, as well as fun activities to take part in.
Lovers of all things scary will definitely love Screamfest. Sighted as one of the Midland’s best Halloween attractions, Screamfest will entertain as well as frighten you. Running from 13th October – 31st October, there’s no excuse not to miss it.
There will be a two day conference to celebrate Celebrating 250 Years of the Lunar Society at the Erasmus Darwin House. On Friday 14th October & Saturday 15th October, you can enjoy extensive programme of speakers covering a variety of topics relating to the Lunar Society.
See Guys and Dolls at the Lichfield Garrick this weekend. This fun and lively show will be playing on both Friday 14th October and Saturday 15th October, the show is a must-see, with spectacular dance numbers and a whole host of enjoyable songs.
Friday 14th October:
Lunarticks and Lichfield Dinner to Celebrate 250 Years of the Lunar Society - Three-course buffet dinner and talk by Wendy Moore; historian and author at The George Hotel. Part of ‘Celebrating 250 Years of the Lunar Society.’
Heritage Evening – The Heritage Centre bring an evening of fun tales and songs of the times of WWI, with tea and coffee afterwards.
Comedy 42 – The best comedians in the country take to the stage at the Lichfield Garrick to bring audiences a memorable night of comedy.
Saturday 15th October:
Lichfield And Tamworth Cats Protection Cream Tea and Bric-a-Brac Sale – Have a fun day, enjoy some yummy treats and browse through their bric-a-brac, all to help keep the cats happy and smiling.
Wildlife Watch Group: Furry Creatures – Visit the National Memorial Arboretum where you will be able to catch some of the mini creatures who like to call the Arboretum home, and then safely return them.
Sunday 16th October:
Kathryn's Homemade Cakes at Rodbaston Hall – The talented Kathryn Matthews from Kathryn's Homemade Cakes will be at at Rodbaston Hall in Staffordshire for their open day and bridal fayre.
Let's Twist Again – Described as the ‘Greatest 50’s and 60’s music show ever’, Let’s Twist Again features the greatest hits from Elvis, Dusty, Lulu, The Beatles, Sandy Shaw, The Drifters, Frankie Vallie, Cilla and more.

The Exorcism - The edge-of-the-seat supernatural thriller The Exorcism will be playing at the Lichfield Garrick, where terrible events will unfold for the audience to witness in horror. Perfect for the lead-up to Halloween.
Voice of the Heart - Karen Carpenter – A celebration of the music from The Carpenters, hear all of the classics come to life with superb vocals from Carole Gordon and outstanding talent from the brilliant Blue Jeans Band & Singers.
