Friday 1st July:

The Lichfield Festival kicks off this weekend, bringing talent from all around the country in different types of art forms. Celebrating it’s 35th year, the festival has an exciting programme packed with talent and variety – there’s something for everyone!

Commemorating the Centenary of the Battle of the Somme - The National Memorial Arboretum will be hosting a range of activities, in a large-scale remembrance service for their visitors. After the service will be a handmade buffet to enjoy.

The Best Thing – Detailing life in the swinging 60’s, The Best Thing is told purely through the visuals, conveying many of the story's themes such as mistaken morals and broken hearts, making it a unique and unforgettable theatrical experience.

Saturday 2nd July:

Summer Sale at the Arthur Price Factory Shop – Plenty of offers will be available for visitors at the Arthur Price Factory Shop, with some items reduced by 75%, including an Arthur Price stainless steel 58 piece Grecian Cutlery Set for £89 - reduced from £240!

Florette Festival Market – A free event celebrating all that’s local in Lichfield, this festival is packed full of fun activities and gift stalls from local small businesses. You won’t want to miss this fun day!

Rocklands Primary Summer Fayre – Help raise money for the local special needs school in a fun day full of activities and games, including face painting, tombola, stalls, a raffle and much more.

The National Town Criers Competition – Members of the public are welcome to watch the competition, which sees 12 criers from the country compete in the National Town Criers Competition, hosted in Lichfield.

Family Music & Real Ale Festival at Elford Walled Garden – This annual event is back, taking place at Elford Walled Garden, with plenty to offer for visitors, such as 25 real ales, games for children and more. 

Luxmuralis - Festival Light Show – As a celebration of the Lichfield Festival’s opening weekend, visitors to the Lichfield Cathedral will be treated to this amazing light projection show, which is projected onto the cathedral itself – a truly beautiful spectacle!

Running for its 19th time, Cars in the Park is back in Lichfield. The always popular event showcases a whole range of cars for visitors to enjoy, with over 1,500 on show this year. Running through the whole weekend, there’s something for everyone at Cars in the Park.

Sunday 3rd July:

Lichfield Cathedral School Charity Cream Tea Afternoon - In aid of the We Love Lichfield Fund, Lichfield Cathedral School will be hosting this charity event, inviting visitors to join them for an afternoon tea, all for a good cause.

Nelson - This show at the Lichfield Garrick details audiences about what it was like for those who served with Horatio Nelson; the man described as a “Flawed Maverick and Tactical Genius” - as told from the perspective of the "tars" who served with him.

Lichfield Arts presents the Fuse Festival, where a whole range of music, arts, workshops and a line-up of performers can be enjoyed by visitors. Taking place over the weekend at Beacon Park, the Fuse Festival this year promises to be bigger, brighter and better then ever before!
