Christmas Shopping Event – Visit The Heart of the Country Shopping Village for an evening of festive shopping along with a variety of Christmas-themed activities. Hunnypot Cottage Designs will be there as one of the sellers, so be sure to visit them.
Saturday 26th November:
Mulled Wine and Mince Pie Weekends at Lichfield Garden Centre - When visiting the Christmas shop at Lichfield Garden Centre; you will have the chance to sample some delicious mulled wine and mince pies. Only available on selected dates.
Hunnypot Cottage at The Shepherd's Hut – Visit The Heart of the Country Shopping Village where Hunnypot Cottage Designs will be at The Shepherd’s Hut selling their delightfully delicious artisan breads and handmade gifts.
Christmas Tales from the Tractor - Come and join Santa and his tractor for either a yummy breakfast or a scrumptious lunch at Curborough Hall Farm Countryside Centre. Sessions will include a craft session, storytelling from Santa as well as a gift and a photo opportunity with him.
Sunday 27th November:
Lichfield Christmas Lights Switch On - The annual Lichfield Christmas Lights Switch On is back this year. Along with the lights switch on, there will also be a Christmas Market with stalls selling food and Christmas gifts. Also to enjoy is some family entertainment, carol singing and a visit from Santa!
Samuel Johnson's Christmas Light Night - Just before the Lichfield Christmas lights are switched on, enjoy some refreshments and activities at The Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum.
Lichfield Sinfonia in Concert - Lichfield Sinfonia performs the Strauss Horn Concerto No.1 with guest solist Laura Anderson, Herold's Overture Zampa and Kalinnikov's Symphony No.1 at the Guildhall.

Tolkein in Staffordshire Talk – As part of the J.R.R Tolkien in Staffordshire touring exhibition local Historian David Robbie will host an evening talk which is the perfect complement to the J.R.R. Tolkien in Staffordshire 1915 - 1918 touring exhibition at Lichfield library.
Santa Specials at Chasewater Railway – Running throughout December, this is your chance to ride the Santa Special Train and meet Santa in his grotto, where each child will receive an age-related present.
St Giles Light Up a Life Service - Light up a Life offers you the chance to remember those who are so special, by dedicating a light on one of the Light up a Life Christmas Trees and writing a message for inclusion in the Book of Memories.
