There is so much to see & do in Lichfield you will want to spend all day here so if you are visiting Lichfield over the Christmas period you will need to check where to park due to redevelopment of the large Friary car park, which is due to reopen in March 2013.
If you know Lichfield at all, you will know this is the large long stay car park approached from the Friary Island (where you will find The Bowling GreenPub & Restaurant) on your entry to the town.
However there are several other very good car parks in the City Centre & new signage has been erected by Lichfield council.
There is a large Multi Storey Car Park in Castle Dyke which can be entered off Wade Street (one way street). Which gives excellent access to the City.
