The city centre theatre will present four evenings of the UK’s best tribute bands and stars who have each won this year’s accolade as the Official No.1 Tribute in each of their chosen categories.
The National Tribute Awards will run at the Lichfield Garrick from Wednesday 30 October to Saturday 2 November 2013.
Adrian Jackson, Lichfield Garrick’s Chief Executive and Artistic Director, said: “We are proud to be the host venue for the new National Tribute Awards. The event is one of the highlights in the British entertainment calendar and it is such an honour to be involved. We look forward to welcoming all the acts on stage, some of which have performed at the Lichfield Garrick before.”
Bands competing for the title include, Talon Eagles, ELO Experience, Michael Jackson by Forever Jackson, Hats Off to Led Zeppelin, Richie Sampsons ‘The Drifters’ Revue, ABBA Revival, UB40’ by Rats in the Kitchen and a diverse array of solo tributes to stars such as Pavarotti, Kylie and Elton John, plus many more.
With coverage from the BBC this will be a gala event not to miss and a chance for fans to see some of the biggest stars in the tribute world assembled in one place.
