They are giving you the opportunity to win two tickets to see Sarah Gillespie & Little Sparrow as they perform on Friday 29th November.
Sarah Gillespie has produced 3 critically acclaimed albums ‘Stalking Juliet’ (2009), ‘In the Current Climate’ (2011) and ‘Glory Days’ (2013), and her anti-war narrative ‘The War on Trevor’ (2012).
She has performed live on BBC Radio 4’s Women’s Hour, been interviewed by Andrew Marr on ‘Start the Week’ and her music has been played on numerous radio stations worldwide including BBC Radios 2 and 3.
Her music is a fusion of jazz, folk and blues, knitted together by poetic, streetwise lyrics.
Little Sparrow is a classically trained vocalist, she plays all her own material weaving semi operatic vocals with cello and subtle guitar playing. The quality of her writing, and vocal performance makes Little Sparrow totally unique and mesmeric. This is her Lichfield debut and she will be playing tracks from her forthcoming album – unmissable.
