Winning Business is an annual trade show for local businesses. Thebestof Lichfield and thebestof Tamworth shared a stand and we had a very enjoyable day. My take on the day is that there are many local businesses who are doing very well in the recession. To some extent it is the smaller national chains who are feeling the crunch. I met and chatted to lots of interesting business people, entrepreneurs and local counsellors and came away feeling very positive about the outlook for Lichfield. Many of the business promoted on these pages where there including Tempest Ford, who are running a fantastic offer of £500 of Morrisons vouchers when you buy a selected used car, so if you in the market now might be the time to act and Tempest Ford are the people to speak to!
Deb Baker from Hawthornes Market Research was there too, as well as Val from Culley Lifford Hall Accountants. I also had a chat with Martin Boland from Recreate Success, a business and life coach. I think everyone I spoke to was feeling positive about the future.
