We are holding a silent auction this month, to win two signed sports shirts from Midlands’ teams, as part of a local fundraising initiative. We have have managed to secure two signed shirts, one from Leicester Tigers and another from Warwickshire County Cricket Club.
The silent auction is being run to raise money for the We Love Lichfield fund, a local charity that distributes small grants to worthy groups across Lichfield District, making a positive difference to the lives of many local people.
The shirts have been kindly donated by two Lichfield businesses - TownHouse Communications and Regal Building Services.
Patron of We Love Lichfield, Simon Price is encouraging people to participate in the silent auction and bid on the shirts, to raise money for the charity, enabling it to help more local residents.
This is a great opportunity for sports fans to acquire precious memorabilia whilst at the same time raising money for a good cause. With Christmas just around the corner, the shirts would make great presents for any Leicester Tigers or Warwickshire Cricket Club fans!
If you’d like to enter the silent auction, simply email the value of your bid to lichfield@thebestof.co.uk before midday on 31st October 2012. Please include information about which of the two shirts you would like to bid for, plus your full name & contact details.
The highest bidders will be contacted on Thursday 1st November 2012 to be advised of their success.
