Membership of the bowls section is open to anyone, Ladies or Gentlemen. At present they are actively looking for new members. They can be members of the Rugby Club, friends, relatives or anyone from outside of the Rugby Club. If not already a member of the Rugby Club, membership of the Bowls Section will include social membership of the Rugby Club.
For anyone who has not played Crown Green bowls but would like to try, we have informal practice/social bowling on a Monday evenings. We have several sets of bowls available for you to have a roll up, so it costs nothing to have a try. You will be given a very warm welcome and instruction on how to play.
We have ‘A’ & ‘B’ teams in four crown green leagues and play league bowls on Tuesday evenings, Thursday afternoons (over 50’s), Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings. The green is open any other time for social or practice bowling.
