Established in 1971 to offer provision for pupils with severe learning difficulties from 2-19 years.Following reorganisation in September 2006, the school became a generic primary special school, offering provision for children with a wide range of special educational needs, including those with autistic spectrum disorder and profound and multiple learning difficulties.
