u3a, is a national organisation for people no longer in full time employment. There are 1,000 U3As throughout the country, with a total membership of 500,000. It is a self help, learning cooperative, run for and by its members. We aim to provide educational, creative and leisure opportunities through a wide variety of interest groups. Come and join us in the aims of u3a - Learn, Laugh and Live.
The motto for our national organisation is - 'Learn, Laugh, Live' and our Lichfield branch of over 500 members, tries to do just that! Proving that, it's never too late to learn, we are a self help, learning community, who have 60+ interest groups, that meet in members homes and halls throughout Lichfield - there something for everyone!
We have a monthly main meeting at the Guildhall, at 2pm on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. This is when we have a speaker, find out what is happening in the groups and enjoy each others company.
