Rotary Cars in the Park is a premier motoring event held annually at Beacon Park in Lichfield, Staffordshire. Organised by the Rotary Club of Lichfield St Chad in partnership with The Stan Bowley Trust, this two-day spectacle attracts over 2,000 classic and modern vehicles and welcomes more than 20,000 visitors each year.
Since its inception in 1997 with just 28 cars, Rotary Cars in the Park has grown into one of the UK's most beloved car shows. The event showcases a diverse array of vehicles, including vintage classics, sports cars, and contemporary models. Attendees can also explore trade and charity stalls, enjoy a variety of food options, and experience additional attractions such as birds of prey displays and a funfair.
While admission to the event is free, donations are encouraged. Proceeds support a range of local and national charities, including We Love Lichfield, St Giles Hospice, and the Pathway Project. The event typically raises over £20,000 annually, contributing significantly to these worthy causes.
