Hi everyone I’m Sarah and I work for a charity named myaware. We are the only charity in the UK to support people living with the rare neuro-muscular condition myasthenia , which causes fluctuating muscle weakness. Imagine being unable to talk, swallow or even breathe properly – for some people with myasthenia, that is a daily reality. The condition is treatable but there is currently no cure. Symptoms often start with drooping eyelids and double vision, so if you notice any changes such as these, please see your GP as soon as possible.
