This place is amazing. I was taken here as a surprise and only managed a couple of hours before we had to go, I will be returning for more. It has everything you need and more, and you could easily spend the whole day there. It has a cafe, restaurant, rest area and lots and lots of things to see. The parking is £3 and to get in is free. A great day for individuals and families.

Despite being 5 minutes late for Sunday lunch as I arrived at 2.35pm the kind staff and chef consented to let me have a lunch and this turned out to be a real treat of Turkey and Beef with scrumptious roast potatoes. They are a very friendly crew who run the restaurant and are always willing to help. Definitely worth a visit to enjoy a roast dinner any day.

Beautiful building in a wonderful location, also very peaceful and a lovely place to just sit and contemplate no matter if you are of a religious bent or not, fascinating history, helpful staff and if you're so inclined a nice tea room /restaurant and a good gift shop close by, the rest of Lichfield is close by so could be incorporated into a really nice day out.

I have visited here many many times and still like walking around and seeing how it is growing. It is not just the trees that are growing, it is the memorials and features, which makes no two visits the same. The entrance, shop and restaurant all give value for money and the chapel and exhibits will interest even the most sceptical. As for the main memorial, I go to see names of those that I have known.

This is a lovely, tranquil place and a credit to the country. There are some beautiful memorials and trees. Very moving for military families and for people who have lost loved ones. You pay to park (£3.00 in July 2014) and then its free entry. Guide book £6.50 which is well worth it. Very nice restaurant and gift shop.

Free to enter, but all profits from the very good restaurant or souvenirs go towards the upkeep of this memorial Arboretum. Memories will be provoked from the areas from all forces from all over the world. Consider that there are some 15000 names on the central memorial, and these are only since the second world war. If you have connection with the forces or have had the misfortune to have lost someone in conflict, this is a must to visit.

Absolutely amazing place, spent all day here, too much to take in, easily accessible for wheelchair, pushchair, visually impaired , land train available for those who are unable to walk but would like to see the whole arboretum. Lovely coffee shop and restaurant at reasonable prices, I can recommend the scones 😀

I would highly recommend a visit here. The place is very well maintained and very moving. The self service cafe is great but we had booked a 3 course Sunday lunch which was served in a separate restaurant. The staff were amazing! Very professional and friendly. We got better service than in many good restaurants . The food was also delicious and well presented.

The Arboretum proved to be a memorable place to visit. We took the train round which we recommend as it was possible to see many of the memorials this way. After our tour there was time for a reflective visit to other memorials. We were sorry that disabilty scooters were not allows in the restaurant and we hope this will be rectified in the new building. The staff were helpful and apart from this problem the visit was excellent.
