This is an amazing venue! I am amazed that this place is free and it is wonderfully interactive. I sincerely hope that I get chance to come here many more times. An absolute delight. My sister loved it, as did I!

really enjoyable visit - fantastic to see a first edition of Johnson's dictionary. If you have a spare hour would definitely recommend a look. A surprisingly large exhibition.

Absolutely wonderful museum! Artefacts beautifully displayed and commentaries very interesting. We were greeted warmly at reception and the guide was very knowledgeable. The video was excellent as well.

A fantastic house to visit. There are so many artefacts and bits of information to absorb, this would normally be quite tiring but in Johnson's house, everything is displayed in an interesting and easy to see fashion.
