Last there in December this place is a regular visit for me, a moving a fitting tribute to many organisations who have lost people in the cause of their duty. Brilliant memorials often very well thought out using materials from all over the world, the restaurant is light airy and large serving good quality food and coffee. The gift shop shouldn't be called a gift shop, its not full of your average plastic memorabilia, the the items are very high quality and it makes an excellent place to shop for Birthday or Christmas gifts. The site is a must visit for everyone. There is no entrance fee but all you spend goes to the upkeep

What an amazing experience. The memorials are inspiring, educational and thoughtful. there is something for so many. A place to remember and a place to inspire. The wall of names is a reminder of those who have given their lives whilst serving for their country since the last World War but then there are the reminders of the postal services, the rail services, even those who were against war but acted as medical and spiritual comfort.
No charge to go in other than the car park but the buggy ride is a worthwhile extra. Only complaint was that the land train is run as a separate franchise so you need to have cash on you for that. Very good restaurant cafe and comfortable facilities.

There are more memorials every week it seems and it wasn't that long ago I was last there. There were several memorials being updated, improved and developed as well as totally new ones. The site is about to undergo a massive development which will create a lot of changes. We had a fantastic guide in David who coached a buggy all over the Aboretum - an essential for a disabled colleague. This is a terrific way to see the site which anyone can do but you need to book in advance and then use the comprehensive knowledge of a guide like David. It is a brilliant day out with a break for lunch in the very good restaurant.

The expanse of the site is awesome and it would be easy to spend a full day visiting. We arrived at 11 and left at 5 and did not see everything on the site. Very emotional. The memorials are beautiful as are the memorial gardens. The tranquility is welcoming. The grounds and memorials are all well kept. Taking the time to pay respect to all across military and civilian in the tranquil settings is special.

Tours for those less mobile on land trains is an added option if need be.

On site tea room and restaurant add to the visit. The RBL shop is well stocked.

There is a small charge for car parking and ample space.

Visited by coach but plenty of parking. Very interesting and so many varied monuments a lot to take in

. I was looking for my father in laws name on the Killed in Service Memorial and found it very easily , photo taken forzMother in law. Lots of walking, but there is a train also mobility scooters are available (pre book). The chapel is lovely with wood carvings and a nice quiet place to sit and reflect. The restaurant has a good selection of food and drinks and the gift shop was doing a roaring trade. Wonderful place and well worth a return visit as there is so much to see .

We have visited in the past but this time we took our son and his family. It has been over ten years since our last visit and many changes have taken place. There is a new visitor centre and new restaurant along with an activities centre for children. The number of memorials have increased and modern conflicts now have a place here. It is a peaceful place and walking around we were able to increase the knowledge of our children and explain more of what they had learnt at school. The trench brought home a little of what conflict was all about and the sheer number of people who lost their lives both on land sea and in the air. This is an awesome place.

We had wanted to visit for a long time and when we were invited to attend the 60th anniversary of the Suez campaign we were so pleased. What a beautiful Memorial this is, it covers a vast area but there are guided tours, walking , buggy or land train all at reasonable prices. Entrance to the grounds is free but after seeing the great work that has been put in to it I think everybody leaves a donation. We did not get chance to see a great deal but will make every effort to return. There is an excellent restaurant and gift shop in the new Remembrance Centre.

I have now been to this outstanding "Remembrance" site. It caters for all. The entrance is free, you pay for car parking. Disabled and those that find walking a bind are catered for, with buggies for hire. There is a 'roadtrain' that for a small price takes you around the site, with a commentary on the various trinities. There are tributes to all the services and there's a garden dedicated to unborn babies. This brought a tear, but was so peaceful !
There is a restaurant, coffee shop and gift centre.
If you have a relation friend or acquaintance who served or even still serving, it's worth a visit to pay respects and learn a lot about them.

Wow! What a beautiful place the National Memorial Arboretum is. Set in over 100 acres of land there is so much to see that you could easily spend a whole day here. We were lucky we visited on a beautifully sunny day which just highlighted the gorgeous grounds and the equally beautiful memorials. It's very emotive. Entry is free, donations of £5 per person are suggested but not enforced and a map is £3. The information centre is very informative and staff are very friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant / cafe and found that to be reasonably priced.

I could not recommend visiting here enough! I will definitely be returning
