A lovely tribute to all that have served, the grounds are well maintained by volunteers. A friendly cafe, which allows dogs to sit with you, a well equipped gift shop which is reasonably priced.. As my husband and myself are veterans we were honoured to see our cap badges represented there. A Quiet, peaceful place to reflect. Thank you all which has made this place possible.

A wonderful park to learn, reflect and relax. 400 regimental memorial, all with a story to tell. A beautiful mai Raines tribute to those who served. Some impressive works of art included and the volunteers are wonderfully engaging and knowledgeable. Heart warming to see so many many parents bringing kids to understand sacrifices made

decent sized car park. was surprised to see lots of cars there. seems a lot of people come here. those were my thoughts when parking up. i mainly had those thoughts as i had thought this attraction was a small one. i thought i would be there no more than 25/30 minutes. we were there for over 2 hours and looking at the photos on here, we still missed things.

Of course this is a place to appreciate and to respect but it was still a nice walk. So many tributes, statues, gardens all clearly displaying who or what they are representing.

We never went on the land train but on another visit we will to listen to the information.

A return visit is definitely happening for us. The staff are friendly and willing to explain about the memorials. The entrance with the cafe and shop showed me it was a bigger deal than i had originally thought right from the start.

Well worth visiting and afterwards we popped into nearby Lichfield for another look at the amazing cathedral before dinner in the same town.

We had a great day out. Recommended attraction. You have two new supporters,

Stunning area with some amazing memorials, we cannot fault the staff in anyway. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The grounds cover a vast area, so big in fact that we didn’t have the energy to see everything. The shop has some great items and I could have bought one of everything if my wife would have let me. I would recommend this memorial to all ages but older people might need assistance.

This is an absolute must visit. The staff are absolutely lovely and want you to enjoy your visit. There is so much to see and learn about, the history in the Arboretum is amazing and with over 400 memorials to visit, there is plenty of history to learn. We took the train that takes you around most of the memorials which gives you a commentary, this proved to be a great way to see everything.

Love the arboretum and think it well worth a visit. When I came previously the last post and history talk were given at the same time. I took my sister in law with me this time and as she has visited Arlington. I was keen for her to know how it had in part, inspired the NMA. We had the last post and partial talk given at 11am but had to go back at 12.30pm for the next part. We were the only ones who went back. It disjoints the day somehow, it doesn't fit right. It was better the way it was done before. Would have given 5 stars but for this.

Andrew is a 92 years old KSLI Rifleman who was sent to Korea at 18 years old. He wanted to see what the memorial was for his old regiment.
So we took a Taylor Made Buggy Tour - Wonderful. We had a lovely guide, Jane, who made sure Andrew got to visit all the important place to him; and also gave us loads of information on others memorials and how all the trees, settings had so much meaning. So much attention to detail.
All the people, staff & volunteers were relaxed, helpful which adds so much to a place.
Need to visit again in a different season to see the daffodils & pink cherry trees in blossom for a different feel.
We had a breakfast roll & free car parking included. We had a light lunch and then went on the train just for fun ! Again, the lady was great, looked after us with good care.
Even if you have no military contacts -
there's something here for YOU !
