As many others have said, a huge site with space given to every memorial displayed. Very well kept. Thought provoking and humbling to give honour to those who gave their lives for us. Well worth a visit. If you want to look at the site fully we would suggest you allow two days or more than one visit.Visited on

This a beautiful serene place to visit. All the memorials are very poignant. The site is massive. Take about 2 hours walking but their is a little train and buggy tours. Great cafe and shop too. Its free entry but you have to pay for parking. Well worth a visitVisited on

A place of calm to reflect upon those that lost their lives in conflict or line of duty or dedication to a service.
Allow 3 -4hrs for a steady walk around of the grounds including the main memorial, a fitting centrepiece.
Occasional Battle of Britain Memorial Flights take place over here on special days.
Only by visiting will you really appreciate the the necessity of such a memorial.
There is a decent cafe with both indoor / outdoor seating.
A shop with items as expected .
Car parking is £6 per day so good value which can be booked in advance or pay on the day.
Wheelchair friendly.
Donations welcome.
Don't take my word for it.
