I visited the NMA on Monday for the Service of Dedication of the Remembrance Poppies. I am disabled and needed a wheelchair in order to get to the service, afterwards to visit the Guinea Pig Memorial and then attend the refreshments. I was looked after brilliantly by a student called Grace, who is on secondment to the NMA for a year. She had only been there three months but knew about the GPC and where the Memorial is situated. She kindly placed a poppy cross for me at the foot of the Memorial in memory of my late husband who had been a glider pilot in the war, had crashed in a Tiger Moth, had 40% burns and became a member of the GPC. At the refreshments Grace and her mentor Mark looked after me very well. Then I was surprised and delighted to have a conversation with Neill from the NMA and the Lord Lieutenant, remembering the afternoon when HRH Prince Philip had unveiled the GP Memorial in November 2016. They all helped make the day a very happy and special occasion for me, and I was glad that I had made the effort to attend.

A beautiful place. Very sad and thought provoking. My wife is a Poppy Supporter and was invited to attend to see what they did.I wentas her guest. The staff were just amazing and helped in any way they could.
The site itself is beautifully laid out and is a real tribute to those who died for our freedom.
I wish the weather had been better though. Next time we'll go in the summer.

I’ve always found the service at Pool House equine to be excellent. It’s always a very professional service, from the reception or my telephone enquiries, right through to any treatment my ponies have needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this practise to anyone who wants the best treatment for their horses .

It’s been a while since our last visit and things have changed so much it has increased in size and it take all day to get around it. We attended a service for the fallen and this was very special occasion followed by refreshments afterwards. We manage to see quite a lot during our visit but will return next year to see what we missed on this occasion.
The restaurant is very large and has a good menu and they do hot and cold food and snacks worth a visit. On site is a gift shop with a good selection of gifts.

Myself and my sister are regular customers for lunch and shopping.
The food is excellent and so are the girls who serve you. However, I am absolutely disgusted by the condition of the approach "road" and the carpark. The entrance is a wet and muddy field with holes that shake your car as you ride over it. The carpark is much the same large potholes and mud!! The exit is more of the same.
I have a nice car which I look after. If this was a small establishment, just getting going, perhaps this could be understood. NO! Bradshaw's has been long in existence, granted not so long at Bleak House, but more than long enough to have addressed these issues. The amount of things going on there, besides the restaurant and farm/butchers shop, is quite substantial. I would thought more than profitable enough to be able to put right these problems. Before opening further new attractions, perhaps some thought could be put into improving the roads. I took pictures of my car today, ( I can't share as I am not familiar with how to do this!) tyres thick with mud and mud inside the car as there is nowhere you could wipe your shoes., as for the car's suspension, well !!!Customers welfare doesn't seem to matter.
