We were travelling to a football match when we saw the sign for the National Memorial Arboretum and decided to investigate. The staff were unbelievably friendly and knowledgeable and the area is quite moving. We will definitely return when we have a whole day to see this amazing memorial.

Was on our way from Coventry to Inverness and popped in. To say I was staggered was an understatement. It's beautiful! It's vast, and every single place you look at is a memorial. It's ever so humbling. We only had a couple of hours, but you would need a couple of days to get through all the information provided. The staff are just exceptional. So lovely and chatty and helpful. The buildings, gardens, and memorials are immaculate, and its family friendly, so you can feel the love all around. It truly is a special place. We're already planning another, much longer visit. This visit was a beautiful, warm summer day. I would love to see it in the winter and see how it feels then. War is simply devastating. Beautiful places this like this ensure that we will always remember those who died for us. I just cannot express how much I enjoyed our short time here. It was just amazing.

A fascinating and huge open air site crammed with an incredible number of memorials to all of the armed services and much more! You can walk but need strong legs or there is a ‘road train’ which runs around the site. Burton on Trent and Lichfield are towns close by, the first with its brewing history and the other with it’s beautiful cathedral

Beautiful atmospheric cathedral , worth visiting but
Like previous posts if you’re going to see an evening show, take a cushion, very uncomfortable seating. Visability poor due to inconsiderate people holding their phones up to film , paid £70 odd pound to watch the show through the person in fronts phone camera ( whu is it allowed and why can’t people just enjoy the show?)
Wouldn’t go again to a show and not usually a negative Nelly ..
Did catch a bit of the evening song earlier on and that was very heartwarming.

10/10 would recommend bradshaws, an all time favourite breakfast spot for me. Plenty to choose from and the food is all fresh and tasty! The atmosphere is great in the restaurant, can be busy at times but what good restaurant isn’t? I would say the only downfall is it is a bit on the pricey side however it is warranted with the quality of food you get therefore it is only a treat basis for me but would still definitely recommend. The shop here is also 10/10, lots of choice and variety and the staff are always there with a smile on their face to help you with whatever it is you need.

I’ve been to Lichfield Cathedral many times - it’s a beautiful and atmospheric place.
However last night I went to see Lemar there and the sound quality was terrible. I’m not sure this type of venue is suitable for a very loud gig as it’s so echoey. The sound could have been improved by reducing the volume and Lichfield Cathedral should recommend this to visiting bands and sound engineers. Perhaps professional advice should be sought.
