Excellent visit- moving, interesting, and informative. Beautiful visitor centre, good sandwiches in the cafe, friendly, helpful staff. Lots of activities for children too.
Gave it 4 stars not 5 because the land train is difficult to get into and out if as it has a very high step. On getting in, I jarred my back which has been recovering from injury. If you’re reading this- a small step would be so helpful. After all, many of the visitors are of ‘mature’ years and less agile.

A very moving experience with over 400 memorials to various military and civilian organisations, you can pay a fee and travel on a "train" with comentry which takes in about 70% of the site.
