Lots of history. Brilliant architecture. Its important to see as many cathedrals as you can as then you understand that allthough similar they all have their own character

One of the most beautiful Cathedrals I've visited. Nice to see just a donation box and not a recommended minimum charge! Very interesting and guide more than happy to explain history etc

Set in a gorgeous close just up the hill from the city centre, this is an oasis of peace and tranquillity.
There's quite a lot of restoration work going on but, huge panels of OSB around the monuments aside, it doesn't detract from a visit.
The little chapel up the steps is worth the visit if you can get up there.
No money changers in this temple so please make a very generous donation so they don't get tempted to introduce the pay desk.

Been many times (Parents live in Lichfield). Size is very impressive. Adjacent to town centre with the Pool alongside.

A very stunning Cathedral, we lost count of the statues! The choir were practicing when we visited which made even more enjoyable.

We love the Arboretum... have been a few times. On Friday 5th August 2022 we went to the Summer Proms event. Absolutely fantastic. We have been to Prom concerts before, but this one was lovely because it was smaller and more intimate. Great music performed by the Band of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers with mezzo soprano Louise Callinan. The setting made it quite magical adjacent to the Armed Forces Memorial. Great sound and lights and some of the best fireworks ever! Highly recommend the Arboretum anyway, but if you can get to the Summer Proms you are in for a real treat.

Recommended for a family visit - the memorials provide a dignified focal point for remembrance of lives lost. Beautiful trees and lots of benches to take a rest. At the moment there are various activities for children - table tennis, volleyball, basketball net and archery.
Fantastic facilities including a cafe and shop. No charge for entry other than the carpark.
