A fabulous day at the Arboretum with an exceptional guide Mike. This memorial is credit to all who have given their life so we can live ours. A beautiful setting. A place to picnic. Kids have space to play and good sporting activities to keep them occupied. It seems to ever expand. So interesting and definitely a good day out.
Credit also to the many volunteers who give their time to such a wonderful project.

Having been told about a show that was coming on at the Garrick Theatre in Lichfield, I bought a ticket to the show. The show was ROBIN HOOD. This show was performed entirely by community members, and I have to say that, ALL the performers did an excellent job. There were some stand out performances , especially some of the lead roles. I really hope this show comes back sometime, because I will certainly go again to see it?
This was in fact, my very first visit to the Garrick Theatre, and I have to say, I loved the theatre and the whole experience. Although it may be considered a relatively small venue by some, I actually liked that about it. It had a charm and an intimate nature about it making it that you almost felt part of the show yourself, even if you may have been sitting in the circle. All the seats in the theatre seems to have good view of the stage from what I could see, so that was a plus! The Theatre staff were all friendly and welcoming and played their part in giving you a good night out. If there is anyone out there who has never been but likes going to the theatre, then I would highly recommend this venue to go and see a show at!
If I had to give marks out of 10, for both the theatre and the show, then for me, as a first time visitor, I would have to give it 9.5/10. The whole night was fantastic, well done to everyone at the venue, performers and staff, and.........Thank you!

John and the lads did a great job, not only did they do the jobs I wanted they took down a old building for me and removed everything. The lads worked hard and kept me informed every step of the way. Will be using them again very soon and would recommend them to anyone

We had a lovely morning here at the grotto thank you 😊 Santa and the elves were lovely (in fact all the staff were lovely, and thank you to the little girl for telling us about and letting my boys pet her bunny rabbit Cotton!), it wasn’t crowded or rushed at all, the grinch was a great touch too. We loved feeding the animals and my 9 year old (who these days is too cool for family days out) asked if we can come back next year he enjoyed it so much.

We visited yesterday and on top of the fabulous pricing there was lots to do for my 3 year old twins most farms especially during school holidays charge extra for the sitting on pony’s being able to collect chicken eggs and pet the animals
It was lovely to see that every member of staff would just randomly stop and talk to you about the animals just shows how much you all love your jobs again nice to see
Think our favorite part was when the little sheep managed to jump out of the area and was walking between us all my son loved being able to pet her and feed her so closely
Will definitely be bringing my eldest next time can’t wait to visit again ❤️

we had our first visit to this lovely farm today.
The children had a wonderful time and the staff were all so lovely with them and so knowledgeable.
Its clear these animals are part of the family and extremely well cared for!

This is a moving place to visit.
It is not only about the armed forces that are remembered here, but many other organisations such as the NHS, Railways, Circus & Neonatal deaths.
Parking is £6, but entry is free.
The Land Train is £7 each and gives a 45 minute guided tour. Very well worth it, especially if it is your first visit.
Be careful getting to the train, as some staff send you down the stairs, but the train is not there. Head straight across the courtyard, not Right (from the cafe/payment desks).
You could spend all day here, and the food and drink prices are reasonable and good quality.
A final word. There are often events here, so it is best to book beforehand to avoid disappointment.

One of the most important and historical places to visit. This is a must for a good day out exploring the memorials. Free entry but donation is recommended. Genuinely a good experience.
