Amazing venue for a country music event....only downside was the lack of nearby toilets, not surprised given its 1200 years old.

So nice to use the biluilding to bring community together

The team here got it so right. My mom was visiting and during this visit Hollie her companion passed away. It was a bit of a shock to say the least. We called the team who were so kind and accommodating. They showed great levels of empathy and understanding. We left knowing Hollie was being looked after. No pressure to pay fees until we collected her ashes, they didn’t know us but understood that we were in shock and a little overwhelmed with the entire situation. A lovely team who in a world where most things are upside down these guys have stayed true to their purpose and have got it very right!

What a beautiful place to visit and remember past conflicts and the people who had their lives taken from them, and what for?? and also remember the ones who survived those conflicts. There is a lovely restaurant there and a church.

Wow lots of memorial areas to visit and pay respects to all the military, emergency services also railways.

They had kids play area at the back with lovely but sad remembrance plague that ppl lost their babies, kids while parents on active duty.

It’s massive ground to cover. Cafe shop toilet was clean and welcoming. Staff was friendly and if u wanted to know some questions, they were happy to help.

Dog friendly, but can’t go up the hill where memorial are but on the grounds yes. No to cafe (would need other person to watch the dog(s) if need use cafe).

The hill memorial is for people that died while they were on active duty.

Used mobility scooter as wanted to cover all the ground which was nice and pleasant. Was shown how to use it before I set off.

Worth visit

A lovely free museum (there is an honesty box to contribute if you wish) in the centre of Lichfield. Some interesting information about the life of this great man and a few artefacts including a copy of his original dictionary.Visited on
