This venue is one of those places each individual should visit particularly if they have any immediate or past connection to those who served in the forces. The venue is vast with a huge variety of monuments all of which are in impeccable condition & it would take 2 days to cover all the grounds.

We parked in the car park and did a walk as part of the National Forest walks. The volunteer who came over to find out what we were doing was most courteous and helpful and that carried on when we arrived at the back of the arboretum. It really is a lovely place to visit. Everything I come there is something new to see. All the volunteers are helpful and very knowledgeable. A must see for anyone even if you haven't lost anyone to war.

It would be difficult to give this place anything less than a 5 star rating! The peace and tranquillity of this place is unreal. The work that has gone into it is countless , with so many memorials here to see you really need to spend the best part of the day here to actually walk round it all and take everything in. I would highly recommend a visit here.
