We only went to Lichfield to get a bike rack fitted to the car, we had a couple of hours to kill so we had a walk round the cathedral.
What a place the architecture the carvings are unbelievable well worth a look round.

Brilliant cathedral to visit, such a vast size for what is a fairly small city. Full of amazing statues and icons and plenty of information boards telling you what you need to know. The volunteers are very helpful and knowledgeable about the place. A lovely cathedral to spend some restful and peaceful time.
