I have been waiting to come to The National Memorial Arboretum for years, we picked a glorious day to visit which made an already wonderful day really special. I never served in the services but I realise what those who have served and those who currently do have given so greatly that it should never be forgotten. The site has a lovely restaurant to have a snack or a meal before or after you walk round the site. For those who are disabled like me, you can hire a electric scooter or wheelchair to get around. Don't hesitate to visit it is a sombre but inspiring visit.

This is a very moving place to visit. It's well worth going on a buggy and train trip where the very knowledgeable guides will tell you all about the memorials.

Breathtaking. Incredible balance between natural setting and deeply moving thought provoking memorials. Extensive cover of everyone who served. A must visit.

This is a beautiful peaceful place. Good level paths to walk. There is wheelchair hire and mobility scooters available as well several land trains. Well worth a visit but allow yourself plenty of time as there is a lot to take in and see.

A quiet calm place to remember and reflect, those lost in wars, conflicts and the coming together of nations. I was very moved by the Japanese POW close to tears.

Superb national tribute to our armed services. Clean and well kept. Nice cafe for drinks and something to eat. Large site that would take the whole day to explore thoroughly. Fantastic

We have done a lot in Normandy. As for the UK, we Brits have done something very good. I must say in is something that should be on everyone's bucket list.
