An informative museum of Johnson's life. Friendly staff. Entrance is free but donations can be made. Lots of stairs so not accessible to all but there is a video to watch on the ground floor for those who cannot use the stairs. Well worth a visit for an insight into his life and work.

Fascinating insight into the man who formed the cornerstone of modern English.

The house is wonderfully quaint, yet relaxed and welcoming.
