Just beautiful!
Interesting, emotional, educational, relaxing and FREE. A must for anyone visiting the area. Be prepared to shed a tear or two. Lovely restaurant. Staff (many are volunteers) are friendly and knowledgeable. Something happening all the time. Lovely outdoor play areas for little ones. Will definitely be visiting again.

This is an amazing place can easily spend a whole day walking around. There are over 200 memorials to see in large grounds with lots trees that have been dedicated. The new centre is only about 3 years olds with a lovely restaurant. The main attraction is the Armed Forces memorial.

The whole experience was amazing , the history , the aura and the feeling of humility.
All the above was made even better by the staff both in general and in the restaurant.
All staff made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble .
Thank you all for making it one of the best experiences we have had in a long time

There is nothing to dislike about here. We have had several visits and each time have come away feeling very contented and happy that we had been again. Just waiting to go again. Lovely place to walk about in, nice restaurant and church. Staff always very welcoming and happy to help.

A place where you will want to visit again. We were delighted with the new Visitors Centre with a restaurant serving a good variety of food and drink. The land train is a must, afterwards you can plan your walking to memorials that you wish to explore. A very humbling experience.

Visited with a group of 6 year olds to see the Scout Memorial. Children loved the space and the different memorials on show plus the abundance of nature visible even on a damp cold day. Restaurant had a good selection of food and the ‘Sunday Dinner’ looked lovely. (We had cakes and hot chocolate).

We visited on a very rainy day but that did not spoil the visit. There are so many memorials to visit, that we shall definitely return. Entrance is free but car parking is £3 for all day and goes towards the arboretum. The restaurant was very busy, there was a good selection of food.
The exhibition indoors was free when we visited and was excellent

A wonderful place to visit. The place exudes peace and tranquility. Fine monuments to commemorate so many wonderful people. Guides are knowledgeable and helpful, restaurant staff superb and the food was pretty good as well. Enjoyed the Land Train experience, really good for the disabled. Will return again next year.

Purchased a beef fore rib for a roast the other weekend and it was possibly the most perfect joint of beef I’ve cooked. Tender, juicy and full of flavour. Also purchased some sausage rolls and these also were divine. Highly recommend the place and by the look of the cue for the eat in restaurant that looks amazing also.
