What a fascinating cathedral! Much to see in terms of ancient architecture and history. Friendly staff and volunteers. A display of contemporary glass painting was most interesting and I would have bought some if I'd had £000s spare! The city itself is picturesque with lots of old buildings, museums, parks, pubs and restaurants. I had come with a visiting choir (Erleigh Cantors) to sing services that weekend. I would hsppily return to explore in more depth.

Well worth a visit. No worries if walking is difficult. There are numerous methods of getting around, from hiring wheelchairs, scooters etc. to the many little buses driven by volunteers. The best is a wonderful 'train's journey around the entire park, and costs £6.
Apart from the walls of names of the fallen during the wars, there is a large restaurant covering all tastes, a shop and on special occasions many stalls of various types, e.g.. coffee, ice cream, souvenirs etc.

Ive been here several times now and always find something ive missed before. Its not just for people interested in either gardens or the military, its just all so interesting! So much thought has been put into everything, the planners really want you to get the maximum experience, and you do. Good restaurant as well and nice gift shop. Do yourself a favour and go here, but not in winter as being so open it is VERY windy and cold!!! No charge to get in either, just to park the car.

What a moving and beautiful experience. This is a wonderful memorial to all of those who have sadly lost their lives during conflict. It's very moving and peaceful. There is a visitor centre with coffee shop/restaurant and exhibitions. It's free to enter the main memorials but there is a £5 recommended donation which goes towards the up keep of the grounds and memorials. There is a cost for the exhibition and the guided tours but you can take yourself around. All the memorials are outside and have good footpaths.
Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely place to visit and see all the memorials . The cafe / restaurant was pretty spacious and good value . Perfect to spend the day here . There's a train to go in round the complex and see a lot of the memorials without having to walk if you're not able to . Definitely need another visit with my partner , as this time we took my partners dad and we used the train . But would've liked to walk round and see the memorials individually . The attraction is free , but with a recommended donation of £5 each and the train cost £5 each aswell .

This was our third visit - the number of memorials grows rapidly. They are wonderfully laid out, and everything is well cared for. The volunteer staff are brilliant and can't help enough. The restaurant has been improved beyond recognition and the fare offered is excellent, plentiful and at a very fair price. Entry to the Arboretum is free and car parking is cheap. As is said about Las Vegas - the NMA is a place that everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime!!!

To visit it is easy to find and just a voluntary contribution if you feel inclined, it is a very large place so intend to spend a fair amount of time there, there is a cafe come restaurant on site to feed you with plenty of choices, should you also feel the need
There is a buggy that can take you around the site ,so not sure if you have to pre book it and if there is a cost
It is very well kept there and emotional as well when you see what happened in the past
If your around there or going past it then pay a visit

This is a nice restful place where you can spend some time communing with nature, and also remember our armed forces and what they have done for us. The pathways around the gardens and exhibits are well made, and there are plenty of staff to help you find your way, and options for golf carts to take you around if you are less mobile. The gardens are well kept, and the place is thoroughly modern. The restaurant was very nice, and there is a dog-friendly coffee shop on the premises too.

An Amazing place, and I felt honoured to be part of the Ride to the Wall on the 7th of October to honour the men and women who lost their lives for our country. A beautiful place, I would definitely recommend a visit.

Restrooms: Restrooms are clean and tidy and can be found opposite the reception area.

Dog-friendliness: It is dog friendly as long as your dog is well behaved and kept on a lead, no dogs are allowed in restaurants or at the main wall.

Picnic area: There are plenty of picnic areas, and you can also picnic under the tress. Just remember to take your litter with you.
