This was our third visit - the number of memorials grows rapidly. They are wonderfully laid out, and everything is well cared for. The volunteer staff are brilliant and can't help enough. The restaurant has been improved beyond recognition and the fare offered is excellent, plentiful and at a very fair price. Entry to the Arboretum is free and car parking is cheap. As is said about Las Vegas - the NMA is a place that everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime!!!

To visit it is easy to find and just a voluntary contribution if you feel inclined, it is a very large place so intend to spend a fair amount of time there, there is a cafe come restaurant on site to feed you with plenty of choices, should you also feel the need
There is a buggy that can take you around the site ,so not sure if you have to pre book it and if there is a cost
It is very well kept there and emotional as well when you see what happened in the past
If your around there or going past it then pay a visit

This is a nice restful place where you can spend some time communing with nature, and also remember our armed forces and what they have done for us. The pathways around the gardens and exhibits are well made, and there are plenty of staff to help you find your way, and options for golf carts to take you around if you are less mobile. The gardens are well kept, and the place is thoroughly modern. The restaurant was very nice, and there is a dog-friendly coffee shop on the premises too.

Had a lovely walk with family. Followed the Stickman trail, had a picnic, coffee in restaurant then rode on Land Train, listening to the 'story' of many of the memorials (cost £7 per adult and well worth it), then spent time at the largest memorial where one of the volunteer guides told us more about its origins, the sculptures and the whispering wall. The whole experience was moving and memorable. Attractive gardens even in winter. Keen to return in another season.

This is a fascinating place, humbling in many ways. Touching stories and fantastic statues. Good pathways to get around and buggys to assist those who need assistance. The restaurant is well stocked with hot and cold food and reasonably priced. Good facilities and an interesting shop with a range of gifts, books and memorabilia.
Fantastic place to visit for people of all ages. Super team of volunteers are on hand to help, nothing is too much trouble and they are passionate about the NMA.

Fascinating place to visit on a good day. Expert landscapers have reclaimed a former quarry and landfill to create a permanent memorial to the many branches of our armed services. Beautiful and peaceful walks alongside the River Teme and a well appointed visitor centre with a cafe and restaurant. A land train is available if preferred and there is a small children's play area. We were told it is advisable to book that did not seem necessary midweek in March.

Well worth a visit. No worries if walking is difficult. There are numerous methods of getting around, from hiring wheelchairs, scooters etc. to the many little buses driven by volunteers. The best is a wonderful 'train's journey around the entire park, and costs £6.
Apart from the walls of names of the fallen during the wars, there is a large restaurant covering all tastes, a shop and on special occasions many stalls of various types, e.g.. coffee, ice cream, souvenirs etc.

A place to remember and think about all those who have given their lives for our country during conflicts at home and abroad. Some quite moving monuments and words which express volumes. A large remembrance site so we'll manicured and well kept. Cafe restaurant on site. Free entry, donations accepted.
Long walk around the whole site which is all flat but there is a land train with commentary if you don't/can't walk that far.

Lichfield Garrick is very easy to find, parking is close and free after 6.30pm , good selection of local bars & restaurants . 25% off at the one opposite i noticed last night . The Garricks Green Room gets very crowded , i dont think everyone realises there are another two bars available on higher floors.
Staff always helpful, smiling and polite .
Brian Blessed was amazing, jaw dropping, fascinating and 10000% worth every penny !!

The weather was awful and some of the land was under water but that did not detract from this lovely peaceful place. It just makes me want to go back again! The site is lovingly tended and a wonderful memorial. There were people on hand to explain things and we had a very informative talk in the chapel. This building is beautiful and it must be very emotional to be there at 11am when there is a service. The restaurant is very good with reasonably priced food. The broccoli and Stilton soup was delicious..
