The national arboretum is very well placed just off the A38 it’s well signposted. There is a mixture of maturing trees and momorials to the armed forces set in the Staffordshire countryside. The only charge there is is for parking it cost us £3 the entrance is in a large building containing a shop, restaurant and reception. You have options to go on a guided tour or hire head phones we just used the free map and explored the expansive site. We said that we would revisit the site in a couple of years time all in all it’s well worth a visit

The National Memorial Arboretum is one of those places that you must visit. You can take a gentle stroll from one memorial to another whilst remembering those lives sacrificed in war and conflict. From front line troops in war zones to the local Bobby on the beat, children and animals.
This is certainly a thought provoking place, but we'll worth a visit. There is a coffee shop and restaurant on site, with toilets in the main reception building and at various points around the site.
Dogs are allowed in certain areas. Then complete your visit by visiting the shop which has a wide assortment of items.

This is a very beautiful and moving experience. Tranquil areas to reflect and pay ones respects to those who have died. Lovely walks and peaceful spaces. However, the website needs to make it clear that dogs are not really welcome. There is a dog walking path but we regretted bringing our dog. From previous reviews we knew that one day would not be enough to see everything so had planned a weekend stay as we were visiting from Suffolk. The restaurant and coffee shop serve a good selection of refreshments. Gift shop has lovely thoughtful gifts.

The memorial grounds are much bigger than we imagined, with so many memorials dedicated to the various regiments, and also personal family memorials on individual trees, remembering a family member. It is a wonderful, peaceful place to walk around but very touching when you see so many names of people who gave their lives in conflict.
There are also exhibitions on various topics concerning the armed services, a shop, café and restaurant. You could easily spend a whole day here. It is free to enter, but a donation is welcome and car parking is £3 for the day

A beautiful peaceful setting by the river, great memorials with some wonderful sculptures . We did the train tour and the guided walking tour, our tour guides were excellent as were all the staff throughout the site. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant. As well as the tours we think we managed to walk around all of the site, clocking up quite a few steps though. The far east area was interesting and very moving, especially seeing actual sections of railway track that POW's were made to work so hard on. A great place to visit for reflection & remembrance

Easy found follow sat.nav , while turn in first see you be stupefied , what a big & Amazing Cathedral, like place on Barcelona. We visit on Sunday , road side free parking . Free entrance to the church , you spend much hours inside or walk around the building and also nearby property . City high street just on the corner . And another big lake area 5 mins walk distance, base on the rain , we change our walking plan for dining at the small city restaurant.
Will recommend friends to visit .

Never been here before so was not disappointed with the way is has all been done. There is not a charge for entry but you can make a donation towards the upkeep. I think their is a charge to park your car. Their is a tram that takes you all round the site which is worth it for the inflation that you receive . Apart from the list of forces men and women who have died In conflicts around the world their are lots of other groups who are represented. It is a large site so if you have difficulties waking the tram Is the best option. Parking for Disabled people is right by the entrance and toilets are available in the reception area. Dogs are welcome apart from the restaurant area.

Enjoyed a day here with a local group. It is a beautiful place to visit . There are so many amazing memorials to see in such a beautiful setting. The armed forces Memorial was especially thought provoking. We went on the land train which gave a good commentary as we travelled around and then spent time wondering at our leisure. Several members also hired mobility scooters for the day. There are lots of volunteers all around the site who were really friendly and informative. Lunch in the restaurant was good and excellent value for money.
Entry is free, land train was £7.50 and hire of mobility scooters £10 for the day.
All in all an excellent day out.

We have visited quite a few productions here and have been impressed by the venue each time. The theatre is bright and modern and has a restaurant and bar with cosy sitting
Armchairs from which to enjoy a drink or coffee either before the show or during. The sitting in the auditorium is good with plenty of legroom and not too many rows of seats so that you can see the stage from any position. There is a multi car park directly behind the theatre which is free to use after 6.00 pm and so travelling and parking are no problem. It is a pity that other theatres are not so accessible and a delight to visit.

So much to see here. The scenery is stunning and the exhibits are humbling. It is so worth a visit - summer or winter it's fantastic. We'll definitely visit again. There are also events scheduled (remembrance and Christmas at the moment). Having family members serving and retired members of the armed forces I love this place.<br>Visited today and so friendly as always - as it was so cold decided to eat at the restaurant (usually only have tea/coffee as family member coeliac and take our own food). The menu is so good with plenty gluten free choices. Had the leek and potato soup which was delicious. Would definitely eat here again.
