Really nice place to visit. Pleasant staff, comfortable areas to rest and sit as its a very large area and there are lots of memorials to see. Dedications to lots of services, not just military. Food and drink in cafe not outrageously expensive, as you sometimes find! Good day out!

Jon came out to jet wash and chemically clean our patio and driveway. A really friendly guy and very enthusiastic about what he does. He has done a brilliant job getting our very mucky patio and driveway clean again. Great price as wel. Would definitely recommend!

Went here for the 1944 event.

The arboretum is always a great visit as it's a lovely walk round.
I came with my family of all ages.

Arriving here having pre booked parking we were ushered straight through. This meant we missed the entry desk where we would normally be given a map and a trail sheet for the kids. I'm glad we didn't have to que but if there was a volunteer on a stand alone desk then this could help.

We were looking forward to the lawn games but couldn't find where these were.
I really think it would benefit from a cafe or something at the far end of the park.

The event itself was great the park is well looked after too.

The cafe is Pricey as expected ands can be a little complicated in the system. There's no clear menu on the hot food area either so unless you push forward between the crowd you can't see.

Staff lovely as always

My husband and I attended the theatre on Sunday afternoon when my cousin, her husband and her daughter were all playing in the City of Lichfield Concert Band in an afternoon of musical hits from the West End.
From start to finish it was absolutely fabulous. We had a drink at the bar first and then received our pre-ordered drinks for the interval.
The music was absolutely fabulous, it was very well patronised and I don't know where the time went because it was over too quickly.
Congratulations to all that participated, you did yourselves proud.

Everyone should visit this place. Unfortunately we had limited time. 10am -2pm. We were welcomed by an extremely helpful lady. Firstly we did the buggy tour. Our guide, a CDT teacher, was fantastic. His knowledge and delivery excellent. As time was limited we then did the land train tour. It was also wonderful with an excellent commentary. The various memorials and the grounds have been so carefully and imaginatively thought out it is a must see. Finally we enjoyed a tasty lunch in the restaurant. We needed more time.
