Lovely peaceful space. We went in Winter so didn't get the full effect of the trees. We were disappointed that despite having our small dog on a short lead, we were told we could not go up to the armed forces memorial.

WoW! Those were my exact words....What an incredibly beautiful Cathedral. The architecture is breathtaking. My first time visiting for a special musical evening...the acoustics were amazing, staff were very helpful and the venue caters for all needs....including food and a great selection of beverages to suit all....thank you for a wonderful evening x

Having recently bought our house we asked Wicklen to replace some of the old clay drains. Keith came out to us promptly and agreed to undertake the work in the new year. We were kept informed throughout the work and everything was left clean and tidy. We would use again and trust the team’s knowledgeable and experience.

The Arboretum was spread over a much larger area than we thought. So well laid out and spacious. We took the land train around which gave us an overview with running commentary. I bought the Arboretum book from the shop which was well worth it at only ÂŁ5.00.

In January 2023, Glenys Goldsmith said about National Memorial Arboretum
The National Memorial Arboretum is centrally located in England - a very emotional experience visiting the many memorials and taking part in the Remembrance service in the Chapel. There were many flowers placed close to the Golden Beech tree that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II had planted.

Playground: There are interactive areas for the youngsters both inside in the gallery and outside close to the land train station.

Restrooms: Close to the entrance next to the shop and evidence of some at intervals around the outdoor memorials.

Dog-friendliness: We saw several well controlled dogs on leashes in the grounds accompanied by their owners. One person had brought his ferret Wallace out for a walk.

Picnic area: You can find a convenient bench close to most of the memorials

Well worth a visit, and worthy of another visit when next in the area.
