Marvellous young trees; couples, families, tinies, cadets, old soldiers; at every turn another story of duty done. A new Stonehenge; a slot in the wall aligns with the sun at 11:00 11/11. The wall of remembrance since 1946 is just half full of names…

Lots to see, you need plenty of time, benches everywhere. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Train
journey and commentary very good if you cannot walk very far. Restaurant ok, but some meals take a while to arrive but good value. Parking well organised and managed by attendants. Opportunity to pay respect to all those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

An incredibly humbling experience. Anyone considering war as a route to piece should go to visit the National Memorial Arboretum and see what war means.

National Memorial Park is a truly unique and remarkable destination, brimming with stunning monuments that captivate and inspire visitors. Among these, the monument dedicated to the Polish army stands out as particularly impressive. Its grandeur and historical significance left me completely awestruck, providing a poignant tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of the Polish soldiers.Additionally, the museum for prisoners of war is an exceptional part of the park. It offers an incredible amount of knowledge, presented in an engaging and informative manner. The exhibits are thoughtfully curated, giving visitors a deep understanding of the harsh realities faced by prisoners of war. The experience is both humbling and enlightening, making one appreciate the freedoms we often take for granted. The park also features a delightful café with good coffee and friendly staff, making for a pleasant break during your visit. The overall atmosphere is one of reverence and gratitude, providing a powerful perspective on the sacrifices made by so many for the peace we enjoy today.National Memorial Park is a must-visit for anyone seeking to connect with history and honor the memory of those who gave their lives for our freedom. Forever grateful for this profound experience.
