Enjoyed a day here with a local group. It is a beautiful place to visit . There are so many amazing memorials to see in such a beautiful setting. The armed forces Memorial was especially thought provoking. We went on the land train which gave a good commentary as we travelled around and then spent time wondering at our leisure. Several members also hired mobility scooters for the day. There are lots of volunteers all around the site who were really friendly and informative. Lunch in the restaurant was good and excellent value for money.
Entry is free, land train was £7.50 and hire of mobility scooters £10 for the day.
All in all an excellent day out.

Despite the importance of the Arboretum as a national memorial, it is also a really beautiful place to visit. Lovely staff, restaurant and well stocked shop on site.

Really needs a full day to get round all the memorials,pay for your parking online, food nice and not too expensive but the money is going to the upkeep of the Arboretum.Helpful staff.

Excellent experience. I have been here many times before. Always clean, welcoming, and educational. I would advise you to check before you come if there are any special events on as it can get incredibly busy and best to book parking in advance.
Playground: Small sensory playground and stick man trail.
Restrooms: Male, female, and accessible facilities. Extremely clean and tidy.
Dog-friendliness: Dogs welcome on leads.
Picnic area: Tables and chairs near the main building/entrance. Various benches around and grass for blankets.

I highly recommend Franklins Removals, the have been excellent. A big "thank you" to Ben and Bev in the office who were always quick to respond to emails and helped with all the paperwork. And Dave and Daz who arrived at 8.30 am and worked solidly until all my stuff was loaded were absolutely brilliant - how they managed to fit it all in I don't know, but I cannot thank them enough. They were professional, polite and hard working. All in all, a fantastic service.
