This is so one of my favourite places to go. Greg the Chaplin is a great man, very friendly and very approachable. The Cathedral is so beautiful I recommend everyone go and visit.

Visited on windy and cloudy day, so didn't have a full experience when there, but despite this, I found the arboretum a wonderful place for reflection whilst walking among the trees and monuments. The walks can be assisted by small train and golf buggies for those struggling to walk far. The cafe has a good variety of snacks and drinks. I would recommend to anyone.

Lichfield Cathedral is a treasured landmark in the heart of the country that prides itself in offering a warm welcome to all our visitors.

There is plenty to explore with over 1300 years of history in the only medieval three spired Cathedral in the UK. See a medieval wall painting, the famous Herkenrode stained glass, the Lichfield Gospels (700AD) and Lichfield Angel, as well as a packed and diverse programme of services, concerts and exhibitions.

During your visit, we recommend you explore the Cathedral and its chapels, learn about our treasures (varies throughout the year, please check the website for the latest exhibits), and enjoy a stroll around the picturesque Cathedral Close.

The Close surrounding the Cathedral has its own story to tell, with picturesque gardens, stunning buildings and a vibrant history. A visit to Vicars' Close will leave you feeling like you've stepped back in time as you take in the row of quintessential medieval houses.

The main centre piece memorial is stunning in its simplicity. I visited on a quiet day which made it very peaceful and spent 3 hours slowly walking around. The staff were very helpful and the indoor
Exhibits really interesting. Could have spent 5 hours there taking it all in. Very nice food and drinks area as well.

I didn't realise how big this place is, the grounds are well set out, and maintained, good paths and a few porta loos doted about. Grounds dog friendly, and so is the cafe.

Such helpful staff who enabled us to make the most of a short afternoon visit. Definitely will return as it really is a full day to take in everything.
