Watched a 1944 day. Visited the war exhibition. There were 1940's dancing and Beth Belle a 1940's singer. Audience participation. Gorgeous gardens. We found the memorial to the Medical Corps. My friends Father was a POW in Stalag19 for 4 years, so we found it quite moving.

Always something new to see there, a day isn't really enough time to get around it all.
The staff are super friendly and helpful.
The cafeteria is always well stocked and the shop has some really great items.

Very friendly staff, lots of access, but not quite as enthralling like York or Lincoln.
A big plus is Lichfields very affordable attitude to parking making the trip a better experience. £1.50 for 4 hrs parking in the long stay carpark much appreciated.Visited on

Excellent service - came out same day - within half hour. Got straight to work while I was busy with the kids and sorted out the garage door. Also gave good advice on how to prevent it in the future. Very friendly service - will use again in future

Absolutely breathtaking, just walking around, taking in the atmosphere is humbling. Stop and read the signs, take in what you read, and be humbled 🙂

This is a great place to visit, the memorials are set in acres of wonderful grounds which are maintained to a very high standards. The main memorial is the centre piece of the site with the names engraved of all service men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice it is very moving and a special place to visit

Restrooms: Toilets are. Lean and well maintained in the main reception and restaurant with portable toilets sited around the grounds which are all clean.

Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome to the site and are welcome in the restaurant and main reception area.

Today was my first visit and it won't be my last, as there's so much to take in. I was fortunate to attend The Army Apprentice National Memorial Annual Service ❤️

Peaceful and respectful place.
A good place to come and remember.
Plenty of places to stop and sit to reflect as you walk around.

Nice food or just a coffee is available. We are retired diabetic’s and it was no problem for us to have our pack lunch with our coffee sitting at the outside sheltered table.

We bought a few momento’s in the shop to remind us of our visit, this was our second visit and just a great experience both times.

I would like to thank all the people that look after the visitors and the Arboretum.

Recommended for a lovely day out.
