Had a lovely walk for the armistice. What a beautiful place. So much respect here fue everything they have done. Amazing.
(door stops for sale in the shop should be cheaper so I could buy them all) 😂

I visited the NMA on Monday for the Service of Dedication of the Remembrance Poppies. I am disabled and needed a wheelchair in order to get to the service, afterwards to visit the Guinea Pig Memorial and then attend the refreshments. I was looked after brilliantly by a student called Grace, who is on secondment to the NMA for a year. She had only been there three months but knew about the GPC and where the Memorial is situated. She kindly placed a poppy cross for me at the foot of the Memorial in memory of my late husband who had been a glider pilot in the war, had crashed in a Tiger Moth, had 40% burns and became a member of the GPC. At the refreshments Grace and her mentor Mark looked after me very well. Then I was surprised and delighted to have a conversation with Neill from the NMA and the Lord Lieutenant, remembering the afternoon when HRH Prince Philip had unveiled the GP Memorial in November 2016. They all helped make the day a very happy and special occasion for me, and I was glad that I had made the effort to attend.
