Lovely place to go for a walk. Lots of memorials and many nice trees. Nice cafe with a shop and restroom facilities.

Playground: Small playground for children, more like an ‘obstacle course’ with balance beams etc.

Restrooms: Restrooms are inside the visitor centre.

Great walk around with little ones, the stick man trail was enjoyable. Lots of memorials to see and a pleasant day out.

Wonderful place but road signage seemed very poor when approaching from the south west.

What a place to go. Such a lovely setting. So much thought has gone into the placement of certain attractions.
I come here once a year to pay my respects and to remember the names of my friends who are on the walls

We live locally and always have a fabulous time at the National Memorial Arboretum. The grounds are beautiful, memorials are thought provoking, and the Stick Man trail and play parks always go down well with our 1 and 4 year olds!

The Arboretum is particularly great during school holidays when there are additional activities on - over the past couple of years we've done arts and crafts, kids yoga, and most recently visited during the "Look Up" installation where we enjoyed some time in the outdoor pods cloud gazing! We've also visited the past 2 years for Arboretum Illuminated at Christmas, and will be back this December too.

The staff and volunteers are always welcoming and friendly, and make a real effort with the children. A must visit!

We spent an emotional day here. It's a vast site with many humbling and touching gardens, monuments and inscribed plaques. Entrance is free and daily parking is only £6.
However, I am truly sorry to have to say that some of the monuments and plaques were either faded or unreadable and some were covered in bird poo. It was also disappointing to see many weeds which gave the sad impression that upkeep had fallen away. I would have much preferred to pay an entrance fee so that the area could be better maintained.
