I nice series of monuments to our brave armed service personnel.
I could only visit for 1 hour.. as closes at 5pm.. but still cost me £6 to park.. not reasonable I think.

We visited the NMA this week for the first time in a very long time. Since our last visit there are many new memorials and even more to see which have us a full day of exploring.

Pretty much whole arboretum is accessible to wheelchairs, scooters and buggy’s. There are scooters to hire if needed and there is a land train or golf carts for those who want a guide to the memorials. The only areas we couldn’t get to on the scooter was the ones higher up the grassy banks but they were close enough to see.
The cafe was brilliant, great quality food, plenty of choice and a selection of gluten free options available, including hot food.
There are plenty of toilets in the visitors centre and come toilets out in the arboretum.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, everyone feels like they are there to help. The staff in the cafe were particularly helpful, showing me the gluten free options available to me.
We got a map from the visitors centre for a donation of £2 but unfortunately it doesn’t list all of the memorials which is something we would have benefited from.
The car park was perfect for us, extra wide disabled spaces and easy to access. The car park was £4 when pre booked and we gave a donation online to contribute for our entry.
This is a fantastic place to visit, there is plenty to do and see. There is challenges and activities for little ones to do, there is even a toy and book library in the cafe to keep kids occupied over lunch.

We would thoroughly recommend the NMA to anyone and found the whole experience very memorable and emotive.

When we arrived with my 3 year old I was initially concerned about the size of it. It's rather small and we didn't think we'd be there long. But it's VERY misleading! There's lots of animals, they give you plenty of food (if you purchase some you get a bucket rather than a tiny paper bag), and there's regular talks and petting opportunities as well. There's a good sized playground and a bouncy pillow as well as a big sandpit. Alongside the alpacas and llamas, there are sheep, goats, ferrets, birds, tortoises, rabbits, guinea pigs, marmosets, and ponies, and some reptiles in the shop entrance. We spent about an hour and a half with my son feeding and stroking all the animals, another 30 minutes at the playground and bouncy pillow, and just under an hour for a late lunch in the cafe which is also fantastic. We paid about £22 for three meals and drinks and one of us had the adults burger which we didn't expect to have two burgers in, another had the cooked breakfast which was big and very filling, and the 3 year old had the kids burger which seemed like a single decker adults burger! It was really good too and the ladies in the cafe couldn't do enough for us!
